1. WHICH DATA WE MAY OBTAIN

Basically, for the purpose of our activities, we collect all the information you provide us with, as contact information (name, nationality, address, job title, professional information, telephone number, personal summary biography, email, photo), your preferences (sector and countries of professional interests and operations, interests on our products and services), information regarding your interaction with us (including participation in events and data insert by you on our survey applications), and billing information (without storing personal financial information; We do not store any payment card information from our clients).


2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use this information to provide our services and products, storing them until you request us to delete them. Some of your contact information may be disclosed to other GRI Club participants, through our applications, so they will be able to meet you and generate mutually beneficial opportunities.

In summary, these are the activities we may perform with your data: (i) managing your membership, (ii) sharing data with services providers (partners/third parties) in order to enable the performance of our activities.

We adopt internal information security policies we consider adequate to keep your data safe. In addition, our IT providers are well known for adopting the best security information standards currently available.

Even so, despite all our efforts, we (and indeed any other company in the world which stores data) cannot guarantee that criminals, hackers and ill-intentioned people will not be able to unduly access your personal data. This means that in case of a data breach occasioned by third party actions, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE.


4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA

We adopt internal information security policies we consider adequate to keep your data safe. In addition, our IT providers are well known for adopting the best security information standards currently available.

Managing your membership is justified on article 6, 1, (b) of European Regulation n. 679/2016.



YOUR RIGHTS

In compliance with the applicable regulation, we respect your rights to data: access, rectify, portability and erasure. If you want to exercise any of them, please send us e-mail to: [email protected]

You shall be aware that the erasure of those essential data to perform your contract/membership will culminate immediately in the termination of the service provision (including event attendance, membership, sponsorship).
